US defence major Lockheed Martin has signed an agreement with state-run Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to explore potential industrial collaboration in India’s aerospace sector. Lockheed Martin on Friday said it was strengthening its relationships with the Indian industry and was working towards integrating it into the company’s global aerospace and defence ecosystem.

 

“We are excited to explore potential opportunities with HAL, one of the largest aerospace companies in Asia,” said JR McDonald, Vice President of Business Development Integrated Fighter Group of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
