Photo by Jerry Gunner/Wikimedia Commons  BAE Systems has proposed a package to support Japan’s next generation F-X fighter aircraft development program, the company announced on Thursday. In a press release, BAE responded to a request for information from the Japanese Ministry of Defense’s Agency for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics with a package proposal outlining BAE’s technical capabilities in a number of key areas.

 

“We strongly believe that we can add significant value to the F-X program. We look forward to continuing our discussions and are honored to have the opportunity to work with Japan on this program,” said Andy Latham, Campaign Delivery Director-Japan for BAE Systems’ Air Division.
