Army Recognition Global Defense and Security newsAccording to a contract released by the U.S. DoD (Department of Defense) on 25 June 2020, BAE Systems Inc., York, Pennsylvania, was awarded a $266,865,094 modification (P00039) to contract W56HZV-18-C-0133 for Bradley A4 Production Option Two, which awards 159 vehicles. The Bradley M2A4 is a modernized version of the Bradley M2 tracked armored IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) which is the backbone of the infantry units of the U.S. Army.

 

It maintains the armament of the previous versions of the Bradley IFV family that includes an ATK Gun Systems Company M242 25 mm Bushmaster Chain Gun with a 7.62 mm M240C machine gun mounted coaxially to the right of the main armament.
