Defense giant Northrop Grumman Corp. won an additional $99 million for three E-2D Advanced Hawkeye airborne early warning aircraft ordered by France, the Defense Department announced this week. The award is a modification of a previous contract for procuring long-lead items and associated services in support of the production and delivery of three E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft for the government of France.

 

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

NG says the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye is a game changer in how the Navy will conduct battle management command and control.
