UK MoD adds Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to multi-cloud mix - Techerati Oracle said that the Defence Digital, the digital arm of the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), has selected its cloud infrastructure to add to the MODCLOUD multi-hybrid suite of secure services. According to the US software company, its flexible hybrid cloud infrastructure allows the choice and scale of technologies to handle data in a largely compliant environment.

 

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is an infrastructure as a service (IaaS) that provides on-premises high-performance computing power to manage Cloud native and enterprise company’s IT workloads.

It is said to offer real-time elasticity for enterprise applications by combining the company’s autonomous services, integrated security, and serverless computing.
