Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land awarded £16m Fuchs/Fox vehicle sustainment  contract - EDR Magazine The joint venture company Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) has won a UK MoD contract to upgrade and sustain the British Army’s fleet of Fuchs/Fox CBRN reconnaissance vehicles and training simulator. The order is worth over £16m/€17.5m. The Fuchs is a 6x6 armoured vehicle with built-in detection equipment for chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) threats.

A training program to develop high level welding skills was recognised by industry in the Premier’s Industry Collaboration Award granted recently to TAFE Queensland and Rheinmetall Defence Australia. Lynx (Rheinmetall armoured fighting vehicle) - Wikipedia The Hungarian government and German defence company Rheinmetall AG have agreed to set up a joint venture to produce Lynx armored fighting vehicles in Hungary, the government said in a statement published by the state news agency MTI on Monday. Hungary is modernizing its military hardware to fulfil its NATO obligations. The deal is worth more than 2 billion euros, which is the biggest in Hungary's defence modernization programme, the government said.

I U.S. Army will award contract to Rheinmetall for tank ammunition n a notice posted on the Federal website, the Pentagon announced the U.S. Army Contracting Command intends to award an initial contract to German weapons maker Rheinmetall for tank ammunition. The Rheinmetall’s website said the DM53 is the world’s first temperature-independent high-performance tank ammunition. It was designed to maximize the performance of projectiles fired from 120mm smoothbore guns such as the L44 or L55.
